San Juan River

I fished the San Juan with my buddy Travis Gilbert of Fly Fish The San Juans. The fishing started slow but picked up on small midge pupa and emergers around noon. The BWO hatch started around 1pm and provided some really fun dry fly fishing. Travis provided the 7x tippet required for fooling the fish and he also provided a 2 weight rod which was a real hoot! Look him up if you want an excellent guide. I think he can help no matter how well you fish.
